Glpyh of Heroic Duty
An orange mark on the forehead. Assigned to Necron soldiers who achieve a feat of heroism normally impossible for one of their lowly rank. It reflects the glory of their feat, as well as giving their commanding lord that much more reason to be immensely proud of himself. Currently awarded to several warriors who defeated a Red Marauders Chaplain in assault.
Mark of the Valiant Reanimator
A green mark on the foot. Assigned to Necron soldiers who have stood back up despite terrible damage, against harrowing odds, and when it absolutely counted. Currently awarded to several warriors and Immortals who all made flawless reanimation rolls in 5E.
Mark of the Inexorable Void
One pauldron painted black, Destroyers only. Assigned to a Destroyer who survives against overwhelming firepower and/or odds. Currently awarded to a Destroyer who survived the combined fire of Space Marines and Orks who killed the rest of his squad.
